How it works
The Self Checkout solution identifies food objects using a 3D Image scanner to capture high quality images of products. Once the scanner captures the image, an intelligent computer vision algorithm breaks the image down by context to detect and classify objects by known classes using a deep neural network of AI. End customers are then presented with a total price and can follow-through with payment, which is presented on a self-service kiosk. Analyzed data is then sent to the cloud for knowledge-sharing purposes where all menus, inventory, sales, etc. are combined and available 24/7. All communication occurs via wired interfaces with no sensitive customer information processed during the transaction.
